THE FLOWER FIELDS
Today we made our one-year pilgrimage to the Carlsbad Flower Fields. Every spring the hillside overlooking the Pacific Sea is sprayed with color. The flowers are impressive.
This year though I have to admit I was barely a tad disappointed. Although the flowers were as spectacular as ever and the kids had a fantastic prison term, I was a trifle disappointed as we neared The Flower Fields to visualize that the section right in front of the entrance was green. No flowers *sigh*. Unfortunately this ready-made the tractor ride a wee bit boring in one section and the view from the overlook at the top of the hill was a bit less than spectacular and not Worth the walk risen there. The roseate garden wasn't quite fully bloom yet and another area which we ordinarily wander through after our tractor ride was vacant likewise. There were also no exposure boards to take goofy family photos and none of the regular musicians on that point providing background music.
That's not to say that we didn't have a great time patc we were in that respect, but we certainly didn't stay A long as what we had previous days. It was nice to see that they had done a teentsy employment to the children's playground. Flynn and Jay dead loved the angelic pea plant maze which was covered in flowers different last year and the tractor ride was a lot of play too.
Not too joyful with the wind blowing along his confront during the tractor depend on.
Mum, did you really have to take a photo of that ….
Off and running for round one of the sweet pea plant maze race.
It's amazing to see how a great deal the kids have mature over the years of going present. I was sounding back through the past 2 years photographs tonight and cannot believe that last year the little ones were walking, but we had to take a stroller with us. The year before that they weren't still walking yet and we had them in carriers.
Jay has fully grown much that the size 16 jeans I bought him for Christmas just 4 months ago were so suddenly on him this break of the day that we went straight to the outlet mall which is next to The Flus Fields to buy him new clothes in MENS sizes. When did my piffling son mother sol big that I had to start buying clothing and shoes in the mens department.

Love your pics! Sorry about the little disappointments though, things that weren't the Sami as years retiring…I remember the most annoying affair for me last year was that ugly yellow "do non cross" tape around the Fields. It was soh hard to keep those prohibited of my pictures! Looks like you with success avoided them to a fault (or did they not put those up this year?)
